EX2 Group Announced as an Exeter City FC Training Kit Partner

ECFC's official training wear sleeve sponsor for the 2026/27 season
June 2026
EX2 Group is proud to announce its partnership with Exeter City Football Club as the club’s official training wear sleeve sponsor for the 2026/27 season.
As a business founded and based in Exeter, this partnership represents a natural progression in EX2’s long-standing relationship with the Grecians. Our logo has been visible at St James Park since 2023, and this latest collaboration reflects our shared commitment to sustainability, innovation and supporting the local community.
Supporting sustainability at Cliff Hill
Through our specialist Eco-Tech division, EX2 played a key role in enhancing the club’s sustainability strategy. In 2024, we installed 108 solar panels at Exeter City’s Cliff Hill Training Ground, generating more than 40MWh of renewable energy each year.
This initiative helps the club reduce carbon emissions by around nine tonnes annually, which is equivalent to the carbon absorbed by approximately 415 trees.
Supporting the club when it mattered most
EX2’s partnership with Exeter City goes beyond sponsorship. Following the fire at St James Park in November 2025, our team supported the recovery effort by carrying out critical repairs to cabling and electrical switch systems. This work helped enable the stadium to reopen safely and efficiently.
Engineering expertise across the South West
EX2 Group delivers specialist electrical and mechanical engineering services across healthcare, education, commercial and leisure sectors. Through our four divisions, Electrical, Engineering, Compliance and Eco-Tech, we provide complete solutions from design and installation through to testing, certification and ongoing maintenance.
We are focused on helping organisations improve efficiency, reduce energy use and future proof their facilities.
Investing in local talent and community
Martyn Beale, Managing Director at EX2 Group, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with Exeter City FC, a club that, like EX2, is rooted in the South West and built on hard work and performance. Supporting our local club is a natural fit for us, and this partnership reflects our commitment to the region.
We’re passionate about investing in the future through our apprenticeship programmes, and there’s a strong alignment with Exeter City’s focus on developing local talent. We’re delighted to support the club and help power performance behind the scenes in the season ahead.”
Tom Wenborn, Commercial Sales and Relationship Manager at Exeter City, said:
“EX2 has been a trusted partner for a number of years, and we’re delighted to see the relationship continue to grow. Their support on and off the pitch has made a real difference to the club.”
Looking ahead
This partnership marks the next step in EX2 Group’s relationship with Exeter City FC. We look forward to continuing our work with the club throughout the 2026/27 season.
