EX2 Group strengthens team with new appointment

EX2 Group has welcomed Rob Brown to its Exeter office as Electrical Estimator, who brings over three decades of sector knowledge to the team.

Rob (pictured left) began his career as an electrical apprentice and has since gained extensive experience across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects. Having previously worked with Managing Director Martyn Beale, he is joining EX2 Group to support our preconstruction activities.

In his role, Rob will support the business by preparing detailed project estimates and cost plans, proactively interpreting client enquiries, specifications, and technical drawings into accurate and practical delivery solutions.

Rob said:

“My role is about translating technical designs into solutions that work in practice. I make sure projects are deliverable, cost-effective, and aligned with client expectations. With EX2 Group operating across healthcare, education, and commercial sectors, I’m looking forward to contributing to a wide range of exciting projects.”

EX2 Group delivers new build installations, infrastructure upgrades, compliance maintenance, and decarbonisation programmes throughout the South West. With a 45-strong team, including 10 apprentices, the company continues to invest in its people and capabilities to support the growing demand for electrical engineering projects.
