Paignton Academy – Multi Use Facility

We worked alongside the Bay Education Trust to provide the electrical works for Paignton Academy’s new Events Centre. The aim was to create a  single-storey, multi-use hall, creating a flexible new space suitable for a wide variety of activities.

The Events Centre features retractable seating which leads to a mezzanine level and a lecture theatre which can also be used as a performance space. It also includes a kitchen, dining hall, entrance lobby and reception.

Alongside mains distribution, CCTV and emergency lighting, we installed underfloor heating and made the most of the building’s natural ventilation.
