Bowmoor House - Replacement switchgear and generator

EX2 carried out the supply and installation of replacement switch panel, 200Kva generator and renewed incoming main electrical supply. The works were carefully planned to ensure that the works were carried out with minimum interruption to the building and required the works to be carried out whilst the building was unoccupied.

Laira Rail Bridge - Plymouth

EX2 carried out the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the electrical and lighting services for the refurbishment of the Liara Rail bridge in Plymouth. Working closely with Philips lighting we developed a scheme that complimented the structure of the bridge.

Containment and electrical services were carefully coordinated with the existing structure and the installation sequence and method carried out to ensure that the works completed in conjunction with the specialist steel work contractor refurbishment works.

Sidmouth College – New Maths Block

EX2 carried out the mechanical and electrical services to the new teaching block at Sidmouth College. The building is provided with natural ventilation, underfloor heating and a high efficiency boiler coupled with high efficiency lighting. This means that the building is highly efficient and ensures that the building provides a great addition to the facilities of the college and provides students and staff with a first class environment to work within.

Follaton House - Totnes

EX2 carried out the electrical works associated with the refurbishment of existing office accommodation and reception areas. The remaining areas of the building remained occupied during the works so essential infrastructure upgrade works had to be carried out with minimal disruption to occupants. As part of the works the fire alarm system to the entire site was also replaced after we were able to demonstrate our ability to work within occupied areas with minimal disruption.

Project Overview

St Michaels Church - Alphington

Working with a listed building brought a unique set of challenges to ensure that the building was sympathetically modernised with the addition of a new mezzanine floor to create much needed community space. EX2 carefully adapted the existing MICC cabling to retain the services to existing parts of the building unaffected by the works whilst at the same time installing new services to the modernised parts of the building.

Broadmeadow Employment units are a new development of mixed use commercial space. The units incorporate a modern theme whilst maintaining a high standard of quality. The flexible buildings offer; Light industrial units, trade counters and offices of various sizes. EX2 where employed to carried out the design and installation of the electrical services and associated PV installation.
